If you’ve always dreamed of an outdoor ceremony, our wedding pavilion on the edge of the croquet lawn is the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony. Exchange your vows under the pavilion while your guests are seated on the lawn surrounded by the beautiful beds and mature trees.

Flagged Hall
The Hall is a beautiful place to hold your wedding ceremony in any season. Bathed in sunlight in the Summer and made cosy by the flickering fire in Winter, this enchanting Derbyshire Hall can accommodate civil wedding ceremonies for up to 70 guests. You are also welcome to use the family grand piano.
Celebratory Drinks
Post ceremony celebratory drinks are held in our beautiful walled garden.
It is a magical place to have photographs, relax, mingle with your guests, share memories of the day and have fun with friends and family. Everyone is welcome to wander round the knot garden, the avenue of espaliered apple trees, the nuttery, the kitchen garden, rose walk, croquet lawn and fountain lawn.
Croquet comes as standard, obviously!
Drinks are usually enjoyed for around 1 and 1/2 hours and in our experience two or three glasses per head is ideal. Canapés can be served throughout the gardens and if you would like live music, there are many suitable locations.

If you are interested in holding your reception here we have two wonderful options depending on your numbers. We can host your marquee wedding reception here in our gardens if you have 60 guests or over or you can walk a few steps in to Eyam Hall Courtyard and hold your smaller reception at The Coolstone.
